Industry Leaders

Services
Our team has over 150 years of combined equity default insurance experience, and we continue to receive accolades for our exemplary service. We use our partner feedback to continually update our processes and procedures.
Operating Structure
NFP functions as a Managing General Underwriter (MGU) and has been granted authority by our insurance carriers to make program decisions “in house”. This authority, given due to our longevity and exceptional history with this program, allows us to provide our customers with the quick decision times that the financial industry requires.

Insurance Carriers
Our current carriers have A.M. Best financial ratings of excellent or better, and have proven track records of paying millions of dollars in claims to our financial institutions on this product alone.

Dedication and Commitment
Within NFP, our division focuses exclusively on the Equity Protection Program, while backed by the global strength and resources of NFP, an AON company.

Pricing
Our structure allows us to provide unique pricing structures for our partners, based on discussions to identify their particular needs and opportunities. After submission of a one-page nonbinding application, quotes will be completed within 2 business days.

Delegated Authority
While UW Guidelines are customized for each lender with authority up to $250k, we also have a specialized team of “in house” underwriters to consider loans falling outside of the guidelines. Through this flexibility, our lenders can submit a “slim file” of only 3 pieces of documentation and receive a decision within 2 hours.

This product allows us to present our members with many options, with competitive pricing, and with a product that is not offered by many financial institutions in our area.
Tory, Centricity CU
Our volume has seen an increase as we are now able to serve members that we would not have been able to without NFP.
Trisha, Beacon CU
This partnership with NFP allows us to continue living out the CU mission of people helping people.
